Hi Henry,
Rings can often indicate coming full circle in relation to something. You mention this ring being placed on your right hand - Right for me anyway is always my feminine.
We each have within us masculine and feminine energy whether we be female or male.
I always see the feminine as being the inner creative, intuitive, nurturing energy - masculine the outer logical, rational, "doing" energy.
Dreams often seem "real" because they are real - if we have an experience of any kind it is for us a "real" experience is it not? However I have found that in order to understand the truth a dream is trying to convey one always needs to look at each person/thing as a symbolic aspect of self upon "waking" and working with the dream which is also something I practise in "waking" reality particularly when I have a strong emotional re-action occur with anyone in my life as I have found if you treat all that occurs as a dream with each thing/person representing an aspect of Self you find truth.
In your dream I see that you are perhaps presently walking a familiar path - side by side with whatever your friend represents to you. Perhaps if you look at what you see in this friend that will give you a clue.
It is night time so you are in some respects perhaps "in the dark" about some issue in your life. Possibly the issue the dream is trying to reveal to you.
You are happy in the dream because you are about to re-connect with something old and familiar within yourself - again whatever this friend Tina represents to you which is symbolising your feminine nature.
Your feminine has moved to a new house/new state of mind/way of being perhaps. From double story for some reason I see that there are always two sides to a story, there are also the two energies/polarities that create balance - masculine/feminine - yin/yang - night/day etc.
Your friend representing your feminine is sad - about what you don't know - are you feeling the loss of something in your life?? I know you are feeling concerned you feel your friend is avoiding you - the question then is what are you avoiding within yourself which she is representing both inwardly - the dream and outwardly in physical reality?
It may help to find out what that something is by sitting quietly, "imagining" your friend's face in your head and asking what the sadness is being caused by and just go with the first thing that comes.
You mention she is under the porch light - from that I see "shedding light on the matter", putting it "under the spotlight" so to speak.
A porch/verandah is connected to a building - state of mind - but it is like the outer representation of it i.e. how we show ourselves to the outside world. Perhaps indicating that there is a part of you you are wanting to bring out into the open but are presently avoiding doing??? As she is crying perhaps it is sadness over something you may be needing to express or perhaps it is just that your emotions are wanting free expression. Could also be showing you that you haven't been listening to your inner feminine and all she represents.
You also mention that she slams the door on you - are you closing the door on your emotions/intuition etc. - or - what door are you closing in your life??
Hope that helps.
