Three boys were talking. They were all part of me.

Two of them were trying to teach the third how to cool down.

These boys were actually comets, or could become comets when they wanted to. The thing with being a comet is that while you can fly and can amaze everyone comets get so hot that they burn up before they reach earth.

The trick though was to draw the ice from deep within the earth to cool you down before you landed.

As the boys were showing the other how to do this, one of them interjected and warned him not to draw the ice too close or he risked becoming ice, changing from a comet to an iceberg.

At this statement the other boy who was teaching said, "Don't worry , only you (referring to the second teaching boy) can become ice!”

Something burning you up inside??

Anger over something that needs cooling down, grounding, bringing back to earth.

Extreme polarity between fire and ice - need to become more balanced perhaps???

I am presuming you are no longer a boy - is this something connected with childhood???

Hi Chris - don't know why I thought you may be male if you are female then maybe this has something to do with masculine energy related to the age the boys were.

I'm rather immersed in The Shape of Things To Come at present and there is reference in it to fire also representing burnout, needing to slow down - does that fit??

In relation to fire I posted a heap of stuff about the symbolism of fire in one of Anne's posts which I think was called "Another Fire" and is somewhere on page two of the Forum last time I looked.

Hi Chris

Picking up on Star's polarity comment, are you wanting change within yourself and having some conflict about it?

Or maybe fearing that the change will be to drastic, but one of the "teachers" says that only the other "teachers" can do that, not you and hence the change will be OK.

Thanks for the input......big help!!! Sorry I havn't commented till now but Ive been really pushing it....burning the candle at both ends....Burning myself up!!! Yes star...I think now the dream was a warning not to over do it.....I was working 12 hours everyday and I needed to learn balance between work and relaxation...I stopped going to the gym and suddenly found I had spare time so I just took on more work rather than keeping that time as "me time". Silly thing to do.....my body soon forced me to stop as I now am off work with severre back pain....... This has been a great reminder to me to pay more attention to my dreams and to myself. Thanks for all the input PS ...I am male

Hmm,, not feeling supported perhaps? - the back pain, or in light of your dream since with your brother - pain from the past perhaps??

Ha, my intuition was saying male and then my logic went hang on, could be female, thanks for clarifying.

Obviously I've read your dream above and when I've given it some thought I'll get back to you - ha - "back" to you.

Sorry can't imagine it's a funny situation at all but I thought the unintentional pun was.

Thanks for the input once again.......and yes the back pain is a result of other aspects of my life.....and part of it is a result of being alone for too long with out my support network of friends....Im travelling at present....... Ill keep you posted
