Hi Lorry,
When we are small we lose our first teeth and often go through several years of missing teeth while our adult teeth grow. Sometimes we carry memories of not being able to speak properly because of gaps in our teeth or of people making fun of us.
Teeth can also be an issue when we feel uncomfortable about the shape of our teeth and smile.
Often, when we feel unsure of our communication style - when we feel we are not getting the message across, not being heard - we can dream of losing teeth because the feelings are similar.
Lost teeth may equal feeling at a loss in communicating, or feeling as if you are being dismissed as a cihld.
Your front ones remain in place suggesting you are keeping a confident front/ face but are feeling, behind it all (back teeth), a loss of confidence in communication, perhaps.
11 lost teeth. What happened when you were 11? Did you suffer a loss then or did you find that age particularly difficult in terms of being heard?
What else could 11 mean? Year 11 at school? 11 friends (lost?) The last 11 days?
Another way to look at this:
If you really did wake up and find you had lost a lot of teeth, what difficulties would this create for you and how would you feel? When you've answered that question, ask yourself where else in your life you are feeling like this.
