I had a penis. (I am a female).

I was sitting down and got an erection which was so large and hard that it was poking me in the chest while I was sitting.

I ran into a large toilet block, like at a swimming pool, because I felt like everyone would notice and I felt weird.

Whilst in the toilet block there was a group of people gathered around someone. I walked over. It was someone I had worked with about five years ago and still maintain an acquaintance with. She too had a penis but it was smaller than mine and dark in colour. She was confidently showing everyone.

I was so surprised but waited until the crowd had gone and said quietly to this friend "I have one too". By this time the erection had passed.

Hi Noreen,

One great approach to any dream is to stand back and look for pairs of opposites. In your dream you note how confident your ex-workmate was. In contrast, you ran to the toilet block because you felt "like everyone would notice" .... is this lack of confidence?

So, one possible theme your dream may have been exploring, is the issue of coinfidence.

While all symbols are personal to each dreamer, the penis in your dream may represent potency (potential to create new life), for example. Think of many of the fertility statues - the males equally as potent as the females.

Males in dreams often represent our Yang qualities (left brain, outer world). When you had your dream, what potential creativity was in the air for you in your outer world?

Is there a conflict between your level of confidence (too low, too high?) and what you are looking at producing?

The confident friend had a more manageable penis - if you had a similar level of confidence how would this affect how you might manage your potential?
