"Low Energy"

These Synchronicities happened around new year.

My cousin had come up from Colorado to visit my grandparents and she, my mother, and I were all going up to Iowa to visit my aunt. I had to bring my cousin down to my mom's apartment in my car and then we were going to get into my mom's car and drive up. Unfortunately when we got there my mom's car wouldn't start. So we decided to take my car. As we started to go I noticed that all of a sudden my engine started roaring as if I was not in gear when of course I was. And when we tried to go up the hills with the car it just didn't have any oomph behind it.

When we talked to my grandpa about my mom's car, he said he thought that it was the battery and that we should try to jump start it. So we tried to jump start it when we got home from Iowa and it still would not start. So I figured it had to be something other than the battery, but my grandpa thought that it was just frozen and it would start when the weather got warmer. The weather got warmer and it still wouldn't start.

About a week later, we were still using my car to get around in and it was still having trouble going up hills. I thought it was the air filter because that had happened to me before. We had gone up to my grandparents' house that day and they were going to take us out to eat, but my grandma said she didn't want to go far because she was so tired. Afterwards she said that she was just going to go to bed and sleep (She had been sick with the flu and was just recovering).

As my mom and I drove away, I decided to go get an air filter for my car and while we were at it we also got an oil cap. Some time earlier the oil cap had gone missing and my grandpa had put a cork in it to replace it until we could get a new one. Anyway the air filter seemed to help a little bit, but it was still roaring and having trouble going up the hills. But we decided to go down to my college anyway to get on the internet. Unfortunately we decided to pick a route that had a lot of hills on it. The car got worse and worse and just wouldn't go up the hill. I bet we were a funny sight though going less than 10 miles an hour up the hill engine roaring and my mom rocking back and forth trying to "help" the car up the hill. We thought if we could just make it to the dorm, then we could call grandpa to come get us. But we didn't make it to the dorm. The car started smoking and we had to pull into someone's driveway. The people were nice and drove us the rest of the way to my dorm and they allowed us to keep the car in their driveway until we could come and get it. I guess the problem all along was the clutch.

My grandpa came and got us and we went back to where my mom's car was. He still insisted that the problem was the battery and we tried to jump start it, but it still wouldn't jump start. So we went to Walmart to get a new battery. On the way there, I looked at my watch and found out that my watch battery had stopped. So I got a new watch battery at Walmart and a new watch band while I was at it.

It was at this time that I kind of made the connection of the events saying they all had to do with low energy of some sort.

So now I'm trying to figure out how to boost my energy. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Oh Shalie21,

The image of your mum rocking back and forth to help your car get up the hills is precious. Thanks for the chuckle, despite your frustrations.

To answer your question, how about taking the symbols of the waking life experiences and working with them as if they were dreams?

For example, for a week, ten times a day, do a visualisation of trying to drive your car uphill and then suddenly finding the car 'finds' its own energy, "gets itself into gear", and takes you smoothly and effortlessly to wherever you need to be.

I'd just focus on that one to start with until things begin to shift for you (gear shifts?). Later you can look at how to create visualisations from the other symbolic situations in your synchronicities.

Let us know how you go!

hmmm Get into gear. That's exactly what I need to do. Thanks for the idea, I will try it :-)

WHAT IS
SYNCHRONICITY?

Jane Teresa's Explanation

Jane Teresa Anderson

WHAT IS SYNCHRONICITY?

________

Synchronicity occurs when you experience a coincidence, or several coincidences, that seem so bizarre that you feel they must be meaningful in some way.

Some people believe that synchronicities are signs to follow, to lead you to where you are 'meant' to be. My understanding, however, is that not all synchronicities are to be followed, because ...

Synchronicities are SYMBOLS of where you're at, not signs to follow.

Synchronicities speak the same symbolic language as dreams.

When you experience a synchronicity, you are witnessing a change within yourself, an insight, a birth of something that has been unconscious bubbling up into consciousness.

At such times of change we see, all around us, symbols that reflect our shift in perception and self-understanding. This is synchronicity.

To understand this fully, and to see why it is not always appropriate to follow synchronicity, you can read my book, THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME. This way you can also discover how to read the synchronicities in your life and how to act on them in positive, life-enhancing ways.

Reality may never feel the same again!

______

P.S.

In Jungian terms all synchronicities begin with a dream.

The dream comes first, then the symbol from the dream appears in waking life in ways that seem incredibly meaningful - though, classically, it is hard to understand, consciously, what that meaning is.

This is because the dream is painted by your unconscious mind in advance of your conscious mind 'catching up'. When the insight (unconscious shift) is big, synchronicities follow.

What happens is that your incredibly powerful unconscious mind (far more powerful than your conscious mind) manifests its insight physically into your waking life. (You have changed - the world, as you experience it, changes in accordance.)

It usually takes up to a couple of weeks before your conscious mind understands the symbolic dream manifesting in your waking life as synchronicity.

Being human, as we all are, we often forget the original dream but still experience the synchronicities.

There are many excellent reference sources on Jungian synchronicity.

My approach is largely Jungian, but slightly shifted.

Again, if you are seriously in-depth interested, I suggest you read my book "THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME" to understand where I am coming from.

Quite simply, synchronicity is a waking dream and interpreting it as such is immensely enriching.
