While things such as eggs in dreams often mean 'new beginnings' for many people, for example, they may have more of a personal symbolism for you. If you have an allergy to eggs, or you commonly talk about 'treading on egg shells', or you work as a chef, for example, then eggs in your dream may have a different meaning. With more details of the dream described, this can be seen more clearly.
However, in general symbolism, hair can symbolise ideas, in dreams, as hair grows from the head (thinking place). So there could be a feeling here of needing to 'break out of your shell of previous ways of thinking' or 'hatch some new ideas'. Cooking can symbolise, in dreams, making things easier to eat, more nourishing.
