Rose comes over not feeling her best. I put her to bed and then go shopping for whatever.

I drive and come to a stop sign. It is a detour, literally forcing me into a bookstore. I can't remember what book I chose.

I go home and find Rose sitting at the water's edge of the ocean in a ledge just above me. I must tread a bit of the water to go sit next to her. We both seem to feel a great joy sitting in this position looking out at the ocean mid day.

Note:

I went to sleep after a conversation with Rose, thinking how all the Roses of my life have had a great effect in direct and indirect ways. I have also been told that my guardian angel is my paternal grandmother, Rose.

The bookshop in my dream relates to discussing, in the forum, how I find all my answers in books and letters. A lot of synchronicities are connected to the words I find in books.

Hi SD

What a lovely soothing dream. Seems you are ready to move to a new level - a higher level as suggested by the higher ledge - and that the way to achieve this is to stop and 'tread water' for while. Taking time out (like putting Rose to bed) gets you to a better place faster than keeping on going at the same speed and in the same direction. Perfect.

There is a lovely balance suggested here between reading (the mind) and treading the water (emotions).

Remember that our dreams reflect where we're at according, mostly, to our unconscious. With such a positive and uplifting ending, choosing to endorse your unconscious feelings about the best way to go would seem to be perfect.

Go for it!

PS I have just realised the connection between this dream and the one you posted in the Members Community Forum (the one you authored "sense of direction" which also fits the detour in the dream above). Go there for more ...
