I have been having variations of the same dream for about five years.

I'm holding the hand of a very small child or I'm holding a very tiny baby.

I'm taking care of the child or the baby and I'm pleased to be doing that.

Recently I dreamt about a bathtub holding many babies I was trying to take care of.

Note:

I figure this dream is about a part of myself that I'm not nurturing, but, if I know this, why does the dream continue?

My feeling from this dream is that maybe you have many goals, responsibilities, and/or ideas that you are trying to take care of at once. Since you are trying to take care of them all at once, maybe some of them don't get much attention? Perhaps you need to focus your attention to one thing at a time?
