Are you going through a lot of cleansing and dealing with a lot of significant changes in your life at the moment?
Being on a bus - going along with the group/following the crowd and driving into your suburb.... your territory? I'm a little unsure about the laser war - my initial thought was a highly sophisticated method of fighting, something that is a lot more precise than just bombing (or being bombarded!?) - if I think of laser wars I think of Star Wars or even some of the technology in the US which requires a almost a Jedi mentality to operate such stuff - ie being very focussed and single minded. Is there a situation around you where you're caught in the middle at the moment? Are you at war with yourself?
How did you feel about your house being on fire? My personal reflections on fire would be cleansing and purification - perhaps your house (state of mind) is going through a cleansing of sort (or needs to)? (reiterated by the dreams about rotten gums and teeth falling out!)
The fact that the front of the house was accessible but the back was not is significant. Anyone can get through the front of your house but generally the back entrance is reserved for its inhabitants (ie private thoughts and private access into your mind).
After going through the war and dealing with your burning house (cleansing and purification) you get back on the bus to discover two dead people.... aspects of you? A part of you which has outgrown itself and which you longer required tries to resurface and tries to attack you - but you manage to to really get rid of her this time.
Jane once said that sometimes the shortest dreams are often the most powerful - there is a lot in this dream AJ.
With regards to the laser war - are you doing war with yourself lately? are you consciously aware that you're not dealing with something or need to cull/cleanse/purify an outdated part of yourself? Are you in two minds about something at the moment (ie the two dead people of the bus (2)...... the front entrance vs back entrance (2)...... two bus trips (2))
