Subject: Eggs

Fatima Taylor

I was laying my eggs to have a baby.

There were two of them and they looked like little round balls. You could see through them.

The first one that came out was fine and looked good. The other one was not so good: it looked like it was torn, not healthy.

My husband came in and asked what I was doing. I said I was getting the eggs ready to make a baby. He said it was too soon and that he thought we weren’t going to have any more for a while.

I felt real sad about the egg that was not well.

Note:

We have a five year old, a ten month old and one due in February.

Hi Fatima,

Eggs can symbolise anything you are thinking of giving birth to: new ideas, new attitudes, new ways of relating, new ways of living and so on. Try not to think about the eggs as symbolising your children or your unborn child. Take some time to ask yourself "what new things/attitudes/plans have I been preparing, yet feel sad that they're not turning out too well?" Do you feel held-back in some way and sad about it?

Hope this helps to assure you your dream is most likely to be symbolic and most unlikely to be about the health of your unborn child. It is most likely to be about the health of your unhatched plans/ideas/thoughts/changes.
