Some interesting postings. Here are my feelings:
You say 'However it was not just a dream. My thoughts and feelings were as if I was awake.' Dreams often feel like that. In fact, all of mine do.
'what messages Spirit is trying to get through.' My belief system sees the messages coming through in dreams as coming from in me, the unconscious aspects of me, and not from anything 'Out There'. You have your beliefs, however, and I am not trying to question them. But my thoughts on your dream will be about what I feel the inner you is saying.
Underwear, as Jane says, is what we use to cover our very private parts so the world doesn't see those bits of us. We are also taught - especially if we're girls - that those parts are to be left well alone. Don't touch! Don't look! Don't let anyone else look and touch! Now, you find money in your underwear drawer. This sounds to me like a lovely symbol for 'the gold in our shadow.' For when we repress those aspects of ourselves we are taught are 'bad' into our shadow, we not only repress genuinely bad things. Sometimes, depending on what we have been taught, we repress good things. We may have been taught that showing off, being number one, outshining others, being clever, all that kind of stuff, is bad. So we can often push our true talents out of our consciousness, turning them into hidden talents that are there, but in our shadow.
Then, as you look at this 'gold', it increases in value. Could this be that your hidden talent will grow if you bring it out of the shadow and into your consciousness? Give it your attention?
The pictures you then saw could be somehow related to the nature of this hidden talent. It depends what they were like. And yes, that would make you excited and make your heart pound - but as it is coming from your shadow it would also be a bit frightening. So your dream response was spot on!
The Death card in the Tarot pack is really about what you need to loose, let go off, allow to die off, in order to move on, transform, step into the next part of the journey. Progression nearly always involves some sort of loss.
Perhaps what you need to kill off is whatever beliefs you have about yourself that are keeping your talents in your shadow.
Hope this helps. Regards. Judy |
