I was sitting in front of a church looking through some folder and files for work, maybe also for some lost money, when all of a sudden a crowd of people converged the grounds.

There was too be a wedding and the bride’s mother told me I had to move as I was obviously sitting in the way of proceedings.

I saw the bride and her maids coming through on horse back, wearing floral dresses. The bride was a girl I worked with who normally didn't talk to me but she was warm and friendly. She yelled out hello to me.

As I packed up my folders, their floral dresses turned into floral pantsuits, which I thought were very ugly. Then all their dresses were white.

I can't remember how I felt, just looking on. Later I was drinking out of a small teacup with a broken handle. Then a workmate lost a ring and I found it, buried in some dirt.

In another dream I made some dresses and the pockets fell off.

Hi Josephine,

Your dream contains two opposite themes:

Theme 1:

Things falling apart, broken or lost.

Theme 2:

Things coming together (for example, a wedding is a union and you found a lost ring. A ring is a circle: a wholeness, a coming together.)

Your dream seems to be addressing a situation which you feel is falling apart, broken or lost and you are looking for ways to reunite or find 'lost treasure'.

For example, when you were sitting in front of the church you thought you may have been looking for lost money. Money in dreams can symbolise value - self-value.

The church may symbolise issues you have with the church/ religion or may symbolise spirituality.

You were working outside the church. Are you 'working' on looking for lost spiritual values or lost self-value?

Do you feel less able to get a 'handle' on this area (broken handle on tea cup)?

You found the lost ring buried in some dirt. What do you feel you have lost - but, in fact, you have just buried? Your dream suggests you can find this easily if you look, or when you are ready.

Hope this helps,

Jane Teresa
