"Racheal Tate Again & Again"

Author

Subject: Racheal Tate... again & again

Hi everyone

I'm loving the unfolding "Horses Eyes" thread - I'm not participating but its great reading!

Having said that - the 11 synchronicity (as posted below) continues at great speed!

MY NEW SYNCH IS THIS......

I went to Loreto Convent, we had a "sister" school Lourdes Hill College - I used to get the train occasionally with a girl called Racheal Tate and we became friends. As much as anyone could - she was one of the cool girls, boys loved her and she was destined for great things.

We shared an apartment for "schoolies week" (a week of celebrating after one finishes school). That was the last I saw of her until........

in 1997 I moved to London. The first house I moved into had a photo wall. Anyone who lived in the house had to leave a photo. I perused the photo's on my first day only to discover that Racheal Tate had lived there the year before.

Nothing.

On Good Friday I saw her at the Fish and Chip shop with whom I think is her boyfriend. The encounter brought back so many girly memories. She looked tired and was with her boyfriend and the wait for F&C was out of control - I didn't say hello.

Easter Sunday - my boyfriend and I were walking along the beach - and there again was Racheal and her boyfriend. Unusually I didn't stop to say hello again!!, but bathed in the goosebumps it gave me.

Then yesterday Wednesday 26th? April, my boyfriend and I were walking through the city and I saw Racheal yet again - the noticeable thing was that she was in work clothes. I didn't say hello. Wierd for me!!! but I felt sad, here was a childhood friend with so much spirit, wrapped up in work clothes, being an adult.

It was a strange encounter.

Trust me - if I see her again - I AM stopping to say hello and to engage her in conversation to find out what the connection is.

p.s. special hello to Favonius, Angela, SD and Jane who are all giving me food for thought this week through your posts!

In my wonderings I am looking at this and see that not only is the synch with seeing Racheal Tate. but also in your failure to say hello to her. Perhaps she is now representing a part of yourself that you are ignoring or not really paying attention too. Perhaps she might represent the part of you that was child like and full of ambition, full of promise, maybe a creativity and outgoingness, your freedom to express yourself perhaps that you have conserved and beat down with so many responsibilities. the responsibilities of work. And you are sad to see the spirit of enjoyment of life perhaps to be bogged down in work.

These are just some thoughts that I have gathered from this. Let me know if I'm right or wrong. And I hope this helps you in thinking about this.

Wow Shalie

Thank you very much for your thoughts! I think you're right - creativity AND outgoingness - I'm very aware that I'm very much in my cancerian shell of late.

Ignoring a whole tonne of people and just resting.... or hiding - I think because I have so much to deal with at the moment and I feel like I need to be here for me.

I actually made a conscious effort on Wednesday to be more of a child, played computer games and bought bubble gum! (small gesture I know!).

Thank you!

WHAT IS
SYNCHRONICITY?

Jane Teresa's Explanation

Jane Teresa Anderson

WHAT IS SYNCHRONICITY?

________

Synchronicity occurs when you experience a coincidence, or several coincidences, that seem so bizarre that you feel they must be meaningful in some way.

Some people believe that synchronicities are signs to follow, to lead you to where you are 'meant' to be. My understanding, however, is that not all synchronicities are to be followed, because ...

Synchronicities are SYMBOLS of where you're at, not signs to follow.

Synchronicities speak the same symbolic language as dreams.

When you experience a synchronicity, you are witnessing a change within yourself, an insight, a birth of something that has been unconscious bubbling up into consciousness.

At such times of change we see, all around us, symbols that reflect our shift in perception and self-understanding. This is synchronicity.

To understand this fully, and to see why it is not always appropriate to follow synchronicity, you can read my book, THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME. This way you can also discover how to read the synchronicities in your life and how to act on them in positive, life-enhancing ways.

Reality may never feel the same again!

______

P.S.

In Jungian terms all synchronicities begin with a dream.

The dream comes first, then the symbol from the dream appears in waking life in ways that seem incredibly meaningful - though, classically, it is hard to understand, consciously, what that meaning is.

This is because the dream is painted by your unconscious mind in advance of your conscious mind 'catching up'. When the insight (unconscious shift) is big, synchronicities follow.

What happens is that your incredibly powerful unconscious mind (far more powerful than your conscious mind) manifests its insight physically into your waking life. (You have changed - the world, as you experience it, changes in accordance.)

It usually takes up to a couple of weeks before your conscious mind understands the symbolic dream manifesting in your waking life as synchronicity.

Being human, as we all are, we often forget the original dream but still experience the synchronicities.

There are many excellent reference sources on Jungian synchronicity.

My approach is largely Jungian, but slightly shifted.

Again, if you are seriously in-depth interested, I suggest you read my book "THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME" to understand where I am coming from.

Quite simply, synchronicity is a waking dream and interpreting it as such is immensely enriching.
