I was walking down a highway in the dark, supposedly on my way to work, when I saw all these Asian people with machine guns. Two of them grabbed hold of me and put me in a car with them. One of them drove and as we went down the street the other people with guns started showering us with bullets.

Bullets screamed past my face and I felt burns on my skin where they had just scratched the surface, nearly hitting me. I had blood everywhere and then when the car stopped I ran into a MacDonalds for help.

I ran into the staff toilets and pulled a girl into the cubicle and started pleading for help.

Then the man who was driving pushed open the door and shot her.

Hi Jane,

You have given your name as Mc - any similarity to or relation to MacDonald? (It may be an obvious question, but one that has to be asked).

What does MacDonalds mean to you? When do you go to MacDonalds? (For example, when you're feeling ....what?) Or do you never go?

MacDonalds may represent, to you, fast food that isn't good for your health. Could you be looking for a fast solution to something and could this quick solution (easy fix-it remedy) be harmful and unhealthy for you?

In your dream you say the bullets "just scratched the surface". We tend to say this when we mean we're not dealing with the depth of an issue. Just as MacDonalds does not deal with the depth of good nutrition (etc etc).

Is there something - a "burning issue" that you are trying to deal with through a quick remedy that is not "helping" (the girl you almost took hostage of in your quest for help) your situation?

These are just some starting points, Jane. If you can post your answers to these here - and any thoughts that come to you - we can move beyond scratching the surface of your dream.
