Subject: dreams come into reality

Maryann

17:13 07/07/2002

There was violence between 2 people I know.

After this dream, three days later, the violence happened in reality with the people as in my dream.

This is scary to me. It has happened to me in the past ! How can I stop this dreadful dreaming?

God forbid, I sometime wonder, do I cause the real life happening by dreaming it first? Or am I getting the message first in my dream that it will happen, and if so, why, when I don't know exactly how to prevent it?

Hi Maryann,

There are a number of Dream Network members who sometimes dream precognitively and I'm sure some will reply here too. (I also have regular precognitive dreams - although they are precognitive, I still find that they apply accurately to my life when looked at from a symbolic point of view - when interpreted.)

Meanwhile, you can read my book on this subject ("The Shape of Things to Come", Random House) online at this link:

Hope this helps as a starting point,

Hello Maryann, I have precognition dreams.

At least 3 have been of fires, one of an accident I was about to have (didn't understand the dream, so I was involved in a motor accident), & some numbers in the Tattslotto (only 2 or 3 before getting woken up by an outside influence).

I don't think you can stop the dreams, but you can definitely change or vary the outcome at times.

Oobe.

Hello MaryAnne,

It seems that life gives us sometimes a preview..... like a movie trailer to tell you of new videos..... and it is left up to us what to do about it.

We have choices here, we can buy/rent the new video, ignore it, or think about it.

The analogy is here that the thinking about it (for dream previews anyway) may be stressful, as in your case.

Life and its consequences are not controllable as a high percentage, and only sometimes can events be changed. Jeannie Dixon, a famous American psychic had premonitions about JFK's death, and although she went to all available channels and warned him, life took its course. We can make an effort, especially close to home, but we must at the same time become detached from results.

We are privy to observe all the time, and change things little. This may be a lesson you have to learn in the process of these dreams. Others may be warned of what you see, and they also are at choice as to what to make of the pre-information.

Hope this helps some.
