Have just read Oobes' delightful post about the poodle and was reminded of a recent similar incident.
I had just posted a dream called 3 beds to the member's forum and went straight out for a walk. Within about 20 minutes I passed a house with a car in the driveway which had the number plate BEEZ. This got me pondering my '3 beds' dream. Almost immediately a car went past with a 222 number plate. It didn't take long to realise that 2=B numerologically.
But what did it mean? Perhaps simply helping me to stay working with the dream? When I got home it occurred to me to check on what Doreen Virtue had to say about 222 in her 'Healing With the Angels" book. I'll quote it in full as these things have a habit of being contagious!
" Our newly planted ideas are beginning to grow into reality. Keep watering and nurturing them, and soon they will push through the soil so you can see evidence of your manifestation. In other words, don't quit 5 minutes before the miracle. Your manifestation is soon going to be evident to you, so keep up the good work! Keep holding positive thoughts keep affirming, and continue visualising."
It was very timely advice as I was feeling quite discouraged that I seemed to be putting in a lot of effort with not much result at that moment. It's gradually changing.
Love to all, Gloria

Hi Gloria,
I don't know if it's related but i had two odd things happen with bees yesterday.
The neighbour keeps hives near our house and one of the bees flew into our garage and buzzed around while i was there doing something. I ignored it, thinking that they're not really aggressive and expecting it to fly away. Next thing i knew, it stung me on the back for no apparent reason.
Later in the day, I was in the laundry and one flew in to see me. I noticed it and it immediately flew out again, as if to say "I don't need to stay around now that I have your attention."
How would you interpret that?
I know what you mean about expecting things to change immediately. I do that all the time.

Hi Lena, 2 so far, will there be a 3rd?
One of the things Doreen Virtue says about these happenings is that the Angels are trying to get your attention and to take notice of what your thoughts are at the time. How I interpret that in my own way is to take it as a cue to be conscious. Maybe these things are signs from the angels, guides, whatever. Doesn't matter really.
I now bring my attention to what I'm thinking about for many reasons, e.g. whenever I notice a feather. It has made me more aware of my lack of awareness.
I would certainly take notice of a bee sting! Do you have any idea of your thoughts at the time?

Hi Gloria,
No, I can't remember what I was thinking, but now that you mention it I'll certainly pay more attention in case of a third.
I've only recently realised that things happen immediately after a thought and am trying to become more aware

Hi Lena, I was reminded of this post this morning. I was deep in thought after a phone conversation with a sister who has much anger towards her ex husband.
I was mentally replaying the conversation and relating it to some of my own past resentments when suddenly the heavy cord holder of the vertical blind next to me crashed against the window with a loud noise. As it swung back and forth I thought "oh, the cord must have been caught up on the top of the tiles is all.'
Then I immediately thought about what I had been thinking about - it was to do with seeing the good as well as the bad in people - and wondered if it was a message from beyond.
Again, I don't think it matters. It got my attention with the effect that it prompted me to consider what I had been thinking about more deeply. In fact the incident has reinforced the validity of what I had been thinking, which is a nice change because just as often these cues prompt me to notice my 'wrong' thinking!
Again, my opinion is that these things, no matter what their origin can help us to be more conscious if we are open to the idea.

Hi Gloria,
I've just seen my third bee.
It flew in the window of the study as I was in the member's forum reading Vixen's post "The Queen has to Work". I wonder if there was a Queen bee connection? :)
It could be that I've just had a call from my sister to say they will be here earlier than expected today, so I have less time to do the cleaning and washing. As Vixen said in her post "I am flittering around, probably waisting time. I am then told I have to fly. But is that as in fly away, take a flight? Or is it telling me to just get working?" Just a coincidence?
The bee is fascinated by two holes in the wall in this room. He keeps flying into them and I am wondering if this is a message too?
Still, no time to speculate, I'd better fly off and do the cleaning! :)

Hi Lena, Vixen is on both our minds. I have just composed a response to her dream off line and have come in to post it. Just had a peek at the synch forum on the way in.
Bee colonies have queens and workers. Hmmm...

Hi Gloria,
Another synch that just occurred to me is that my sister's married name is macQUEEN. |

Heh, heh, hee, This is another B just buzzing in. Did I ever tell you that my little sausage dog is called "4B"?
And last night I was totally engrossed in a DVD of Lord of The Rings, or rather the making of the movie, especially the creation of Rivendell, and utterly fascinated by the Fairy Queen.
Definitely good night now, time to take flight in my dreams.

WHAT IS SYNCHRONICITY?
________
Synchronicity occurs when you experience a coincidence, or several coincidences, that seem so bizarre that you feel they must be meaningful in some way. Some people believe that synchronicities are signs to follow, to lead you to where you are 'meant' to be. My understanding, however, is that not all synchronicities are to be followed, because ... Synchronicities are SYMBOLS of where you're at, not signs to follow.
Synchronicities speak the same symbolic language as dreams. When you experience a synchronicity, you are witnessing a change within yourself, an insight, a birth of something that has been unconscious bubbling up into consciousness. At such times of change we see, all around us, symbols that reflect our shift in perception and self-understanding. This is synchronicity. To understand this fully, and to see why it is not always appropriate to follow synchronicity, you can read my book, THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME. This way you can also discover how to read the synchronicities in your life and how to act on them in positive, life-enhancing ways.
Reality may never feel the same again!
______
P.S.
In Jungian terms all synchronicities begin with a dream. The dream comes first, then the symbol from the dream appears in waking life in ways that seem incredibly meaningful - though, classically, it is hard to understand, consciously, what that meaning is.
This is because the dream is painted by your unconscious mind in advance of your conscious mind 'catching up'. When the insight (unconscious shift) is big, synchronicities follow. What happens is that your incredibly powerful unconscious mind (far more powerful than your conscious mind) manifests its insight physically into your waking life. (You have changed - the world, as you experience it, changes in accordance.)
It usually takes up to a couple of weeks before your conscious mind understands the symbolic dream manifesting in your waking life as synchronicity.
Being human, as we all are, we often forget the original dream but still experience the synchronicities.
There are many excellent reference sources on Jungian synchronicity.
My approach is largely Jungian, but slightly shifted.
Again, if you are seriously in-depth interested, I suggest you read my book "THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME" to understand where I am coming from.
Quite simply, synchronicity is a waking dream and interpreting it as such is immensely enriching.
