About this Book

The extraordinary story of a scientist's (Jane Teresa's) quest to understand her ability to see future events in her dreams. This startling research will challenge your perceptions of time, synchronicity, personal power and individual responsibility in your personal and collective futures. Reality, as you think you know it, will never be the same again.

Two hundred people contributed towards this research by answering questionnaires and entering into private correspondence through The Dream Research Bank. Fifty of these completed the lengthy and detailed Precognitive Dreaming Questionnaire and many continued to update me on their precognitive experiences and thoughts for up to three years. Some have been mentioned by name, or by pen-name, in this book, but while others have not been named, their input has shaped both the book and my conclusions. To all these very special people who have given so much time, effort and thought, I extend my deepest thanks.

Some experiences in this book resulted from Reality Matters, the radio series which I co-presented with Chris Welsh on Queensland’s ABC radio station 612:4QR. Thank you, Chris, for the part you played in encouraging people to tune into what really matters and to become involved in my research. Thank you also to our listeners who took the plunge and carried out some of the experiments with us.

Thank you to the four clairvoyants whose stories appear in this book: Margaret Stuart, Rev. Ruth Bennett, Saanthi and Bruce Way. Apart from giving me their time and energy during the initial interviews, each read their individual stories and gave me permission to publish. Thank you especially for being frank and honest in expressing your individual concerns about the nature of your work.

Seven members of The Dream Research Bank became Special Project Researchers, organising and collecting survey material: Pat Collis, Sue Coulston, Jaquie Grewar, Barbara Hughes, Kerry Kroesen, Anita Mudge and Celine Richardson. Thank you all for your wonderful dedication and work.

The Hypnosis Project with hypnotherapist John Suess was a turning point in this research. Thank you, John, for the all the hours you donated towards this research, for your interest in investigating such an unusual field, for your trust in carrying out my experiments and for your support, encouragement and discussion.

Finally thank you to everyone who has discussed this subject with me during the years, in particular to dream analyst Kerry Kroesen, dream and subconscious mind therapist Beth Richardson and, of course, the greatest sounding board of all, my family.
