What’s your recurring dream or recurring dream theme? Does it have an unresolved ending or feel uncomfortable?

What’s your recurring life theme? Is it something problematic, something that needs a solution, a resolution? Does it feel uncomfortable?

Might these two be related: your recurring dream theme and your recurring life theme? It’s highly likely that they are.

You’re interested in dreams (otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this), and my guess is that you’re probably interested in interpreting your dreams to gain insight into your waking life, and this is excellent. But have you ever thought about starting with a waking life issue and then looking to your dreams for a solution?

How would this work? This is what I do with the life coaching programs, where you commit to a weekly phone or skype call, and we start with the stuff of your waking life and then explore your dreams for connections. We also explore your waking life from a symbolic point of view to help throw light on your life.

With or without life coaching though, if you still have a recurring dream or recurring dream theme, isn’t it time you gave your highest priority to understanding the dream so that you can understand the recurring waking life situation that is unresolved or uncomfortable? You can gain rewarding insights from interpreting a single dream, but just think of the run-on effects you can gain by deciding to interpret your recurring dream theme once and for all, apply alchemy, and liberate yourself from that cycle that has been going on for … oh, for how long, in your case?

Episode 59:
Margaret: Alchemy in action

My guest today is Margaret, who is studying with me to become a master dream analyst and alchemist. Now halfway through her course, Margaret asked to come onto the show to share her experiences of working with her clients, interpreting their dreams, creating alchemy for them, and witnessing their life-changing results.

What's it like to be thrown into the deep end - sent out to work with clients from day one - and what has Margaret learned about herself along the way?

If you've ever offered interpretation and alchemy to your friends and family or, if you're a therapist, to your clients, you'll pick up some tips from Margaret and enjoy a smile or ten along the way.
Episode 59

Episode 60:
Jules' dream: Rescuing Fergie

My guest today is Jules, who received a shock medical diagnosis last week.

That night she had a vivid dream involving a healer and the search for Fergie, a corgi she once owned, who was lost in the dream.

Jules was faced with a choice in her dream, a choice between a piece of gold and a piece of murky brown stuff. How can this dream choice assist her as she moves forward with her life, post-diagnosis? In the dream, Jules finally found Fergie in a castle, but was she able to free her?

In this podcast we continue a theme of recent episodes, discovering the interrelationship between the unconscious mind and the physical body through dreams, and the shifts that can be achieved through dream alchemy.

Episode 61:
The brain's mind

What's the connection between a flagon of gin and seeing the world upside down?

Here's a clue: it's got nothing to do with getting drunk. Here's another clue: it's got everything to do with how the brain hears what it wants to hear and sees what it wants to see.

In short, the brain has a mind of its own. Now - that's got you thinking, hasn't it?

Your dreams can help you to understand why you experience the world in your own special, unique way, and can open your eyes to new, more fulfilling ways of experiencing life. Today's show explores this firstly through Amy's dream, then through a little brain science, and finally through my flagon of gin experience.

Lots of practical dream interpretation tips are included, as always, and by the end of the podcast you'll have some interesting conversation starters to introduce at your next party. Cheers!
Episode 61

Episode 62:
Carolyn's dream: Dark strangers

Carolyn is my guest with a short fearful dream featuring a caravan (mobile home) she wants to stop from entering her garden, and two dark, shadowy men who grab her hands and threaten rape.

Our darkest dreams can be our most enlightening, though fear can hold us back from shining light into the shadows.

Listen as Carolyn firstly finds difficulty relating to her shadows and then, step by step, makes the connection and sees the light. No, it's not about rape; yes, it is symbolic.

You'll also hear Carolyn talking about her passion, and you'll see why this dream - and the alchemy - is integral to freeing her to follow her passion more deeply.
