News update
Jane Teresa Anderson, August 2010

Welcome to the first of our new format news-only Dream Sight News. In case you missed the announcement earlier this month, after 143 issues featuring articles about dreams, this is now a news-only, short and sweet monthly update.
For a regular dose of articles and posts about dreams, go to my blog where I blog two or three times a week. You can subscribe there to receive my posts direct to your inbox.
It’s been a big month here at Dream Sight, and a big month personally as we have been enjoying family celebrations in the lead-up to my daughter Rowan’s wedding on 31st July. (Yes, I’m writing this a few days before the end of the July.)
Recent newspaper articles about research into dreams generated a flurry of media interest this month, so I was kept busy with more radio and newspaper interviews than usual, and I decided to cover some of those research results (and my thoughts on these) in a podcast. To keep it lively and interesting, I asked my husband, Michael, to join me (episode 65), so we could chat about the articles and have a bit of fun along the way. If you missed that episode, have a listen here!
July was a big update month, with four podcast guests reporting on their results since having their dreams interpreted and doing their alchemy: Kate (ep 57), Barbara (ep 48), Margaret (ep 55) and Suzanne (ep 45). (Click their names to read their updates on my blog.)
Thanks to Ifiyenia and Renee who were my guests this month on The Dream Show in episodes 66 and 67.
Astrologers loved my blog ‘Does a full moon affect dreams?’ What’s your experience?
Behind the scenes I’ve enjoyed working with people on their dreams, as usual, and I’m noticing more and more people opting for phone or skype consultations in preference to email. This month we also added a new service: recording your alchemy as an mp3 and emailing it to you straight after a consultation so you can have my voice leading you through your visualisations. This service comes at no extra cost – it’s all in the consultation fee, and the feedback from people is that they love it: it makes doing the visualisations so much easier, and everyone so far has said they’ve enjoyed the fact that it’s my voice helping them through.
Also behind the scenes we’re working on a new online shop and expect to announce … on second thoughts, I’ll leave that til August!
Finally, for Mac users who’ve been unable to use our eDream Journal (DSDD), a solution has been found! The eDream Journal is a free download, and you’ll find a special page for Mac users. Enjoy!
May August bring you many blessings,
Jane Teresa Anderson
